Day 1 with the new critters has gone almost well! Wethers (Fred and Franky) had to be weighed for State Fair today, of course they both weighed 86lbs! Barrows (Ditty and Biggs) keep knocking over feed, so new feed arrangements will be made or boy #3 is going to hand feed them! Hereford show heifers are not so scared of the new critters, but Market heifers are. The girl is really liking getting muddy with the barrows, boy #4 is liking all new arrangements. Remember it is only 11am! Rumor has it when boy #1 gets home, show heifers are going to be washed and blowed and spoiled rotten, so I better get something out for supper to be thawing now.
